ClassGraphic Spanish 1 introduces students to the four basic language skills: listening comprehension, speaking, reading, and writing, within a cultural context. Emphasis is on practice, and building essential phrases, language topics including introductions, places, work, and food. Class focuses on improving speaking and listening with some attention to basic grammar such as the present and future tenses. Short texts are introduced for reading and as prompts to begin writing basic sentences. Recommended textbook.
