C/N Fall Birds of the Puget Sound Lowland

Fall and early Winter are a rich time for waterfowl as they return to the plentiful and sheltered waters of Puget Sound. Winter residents take up territories in the forests. Individual species group together in mixed feeding flocks. Learn how to identify species, appreciate behaviors and discover the best places to bird throughout the Puget Sound lowlands during this optimal season. This class meets on the North Seattle College campus on Thursday and the carpooling field trip is on the following Sunday (details given in the Thursday class). Travel-related expenses will be shared among driver and passengers.
