ClassGraphic The Day of the Dead (Día de los Muertos), which takes place annually on November 2nd, is a traditional Mexican holiday celebrating the lives of departed loved ones. The rituals and materials used to celebrate this day are varied and colorful. Come learn how to make a brightly-colored felted Day of the Dead skull, regarded as a meaningful reminder of the eternal cycle of life. This class will introduce you to different types of wool fiber and felting techniques, basic tools, and design.
