CourseGraphic Mid-July through early August is the perfect time to plant for a crop of fall and winter vegetables. Join Mary Alice Hecht of the Endolyne Garden Club to discover which vegetables produce satisfactory crops by Thanksgiving (and some even later). Topics covered will include: direction of planting rows for maximum fall sunshine exposure; soil mechanics, water-wise guidelines; how to deal with the effects of fall wind on plants; and when to harvest. In class, you'll plant a small container of herbs to take home.
