CourseGraphic Spanish 1 introduces you to the very basic aspects of the language. Emphasis is on practice, confidence building and language topics including introductions, places, work, and food. Class focuses on improving speaking and listening with some attention to basic grammar such as present tense and the future using “Going to.” Short texts are introduced for reading, and as prompts to begin writing basic sentences. By the end of the course, you will be able to apply the above information in structured environments.
