ClassGraphic Come join South Seattle College horticulture instructor Van Bobbitt for the day on Bainbridge Island touring the Bloedel Reserve, an internationally-0renowned public garden and forest preserve. The group will have the benefit of Mr. Bobbitt's expertise and a Bloedel Reserve guide providing a horticulturally-focused tour. After the tour, the group will enjoy an optional no-host lunch together on Bainbridge Island before taking the return ferry to Seattle. The Reserve’s founders’ vision was “to provide refreshment and tranquility in the presence of natural beauty."  Come experience this for yourself! Please read:  Meet at 9:45 a.m. at the Bloedel Reserve entrance, 7571 NE Dolphin Drive, Bainbridge Island. You will need to be sure to catch the 8:55AM ferry from Coleman Dock in Seattle and then drive to the entrance of the Reserve. Mr. Bobbitt will provide a mini-lecture on the 35-minute ferry ride from Seattle to Bainbridge Island.
