Take your photography skills to new levels, doing more justice to the beauty in front of your camera lens. In the first session, explore the capabilities of your camera, the shooting modes that offer far more creativity than Automatic with a not-so-steep a learning curve. In the second session, we'll get out and practice with your camera on location in the South Seattle College Arboretum, the Seattle Chinese Garden, and a rare chance to photograph in the greenhouses at the College. In the third session, we'll return to the classroom to share a selection of the photographs you took on location, and discuss your questions and insights. For motivated beginners and aspiring amateur photographers with any digital camera, point-and-shoot or fancier SLR.
